(WEAU) - One of two mothers accused of leaving their kids with a teenage babysitter for a week longer than they were supposed to has pleaded not guilty.
Rachel Hoyt, 27, pleaded not guilty to three counts of child neglect Thursday in Eau Claire County Court.
The criminal complaint accuses Hoyt and Natasha Carter, 28, of leaving 7 small children with a 16-year-old babysitter for what was supposed to be a weekend last March, but didn’t come back for 10 days.
