Eau Claire, Wis. (WEAU) - A Black River Falls woman is in serious condition after the SUV she was driving was hit by a semi.
Monroe County Deputies say Candice Demarr Brandt was driving on HWY 21 northeast of Tomah Wednesday after 4 PM when she turned into the path of a semi.
Deputies say both vehicles ended up in the ditch. Brandt had to be pulled from the vehicle and was taken to an area hospital. The crash is still under investigation.
