(WEAU) - A Wednesday afternoon fire damaged an apartment complex and hurt two people in La Crosse.
Firefighters say it happened at an 8 unit building on Liberty Street. Crews say a grill on a deck started it on the second floor. It happened around 3:20 p.m. and two people were hurt, one was taken to the hospital with unknown injuries, the other person was treated on scene.
Firefighters say there's severe damage to the building and no one will be able to live there for now.
