Paint the Town Red happening in Chippewa Falls

NEWS RELEASE FROM ST. JOSEPH'S HOSPITAL:

CHIPPEWA FALLS – Chippewa Falls Main Street and St. Joseph’s Hospital have combined to offer Paint the Town Red from 4 to 7 p.m., Feb. 5, at businesses in downtown Chippewa Falls to promote heart health and wellness.

In addition to activities at more than 25 downtown businesses, St. Joseph’s Hospital will host free flu shots, free screenings, share health information and offer giveaways at several downtown businesses including:

House Blend Lighting and Design Studio, 215 N. Bridge St., will host a mercury thermometer exchange. Bring your old mercury thermometer in and get a new digital one for free.

Mason Shoe, 301 N. Bridge St., will host rehabilitation therapists and wound care specialists that will help to determine your best course of action to strengthen your heart.

Korger’s Furniture and Decorating, 201 N. Bridge St., will host free blood pressure checks. Specialists will offer tips on how to keep your home safe from falls and showcase products to help make simple changes in your house.

Foreign 5, 123 N. Bridge St., will host FREE flu shots and Ask the Doc with Dr. Laura Isaacson, Family Health Associates, who will answer questions about heart care. Learn about the new Coronary Calcium test available at St. Joseph’s Hospital.

Country Treasures, 216 N. Bridge St., will host Cindy Eckes, Family Nurse Practitioner from Family Health Associates, who will answer questions about cholesterol and high blood pressure.

Eevy Ivy Over, 314 N. Bridge St., will host Chippewa Health Improvement Partnership. Discover simple ways to reduce stress with inexpensive products in the store. Learn about the new mental health team that has been created to help the community.
