EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) – Police say they have no suspects in the theft of a city-owned truck yesterday afternoon.

Lt. Jim Southworth with the Eau Claire Police Department says it was reported around 1:30 p.m. or 2 p.m. Wednesday. A worker had left the truck about 100-200 feet away in Wilson Park. The worker eventually looked back to find that the truck was gone.

Police found the truck in a parking lot that’s owned by Banbury Place, just south of the Elbow Room bar around 2 a.m. Thursday. Nothing was missing from the truck, which wasn’t damaged. Officers say they do not know how many people may have been involved. There are no arrests in the case.
