CHIPPEWA FALLS, Wis. (WEAU) – Police are investigating a robbery, but say that they don’t believe there’s a threat to the community.
It happened around 5 p.m. Tuesday at a home on Island Street in Chippewa Falls. A man there reported that several people went in his home, and displayed weapons. Officers say several items were reportedly stolen. The man did not report injuries.
A release from the Chippewa Falls Police Department does not indicate what kind of weapons were shown or what was reportedly stolen. No arrests have been made.
