Power outage affects nearly 80 customers

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) - Crews are working to restore power to dozens of customers that were affected by an outage Friday.

A spokesman from Xcel Energy says a semi hit a guy wire near the Weathershield plant in Ladysmith. It left 78 customers without power.

Crews are working to fix the outage. Xcel says it expects power to be restored by noon Friday.
