ALTOONA, Wis. (WEAU) -- Despite the rain earlier Saturday, turnout was good for day three of Cinder City Days in Altoona.

Saturday's highlights included several tournaments, a car show, craft show, music and chicken in the park.

Tom Rutledge with the Altoona Lions estimates at least a couple thousand people have showed up so far. He said the money that comes out of Cinder City Days stays in Altoona.

"All the money we raise and this is one of our biggest fundraisers goes straight back to the community; might be parks, scholarships for schools, might even be a wheelchair for someone," said Rutledge.

A parade scheduled for Saturday afternoon also continued as planned.
