Rollover crash on Highway 53
(WEAU) - A rollover crash sends a woman to the hospital Tuesday morning in Eau Claire.
It happened before 10:30 a.m. on the 53 bypass, just south of the North Crossing. The woman told police she was heading north when something got caught under the gas pedal.
When she tried to get it out from under the pedal the car went off the road and rolled.
Officers say the woman has non-life threatening injuries and wearing her seatbelt likely saved her life.
