Romney looks to build on GOP gains in Wisconsin

JANESVILLE, Wis. (AP) -- Mitt Romney is looking to capitalize on a big Republican victory in Wisconsin as he visits the state for the first time since GOP Gov. Scott Walker survived a contentious recall election.

The state hasn't voted for a Republican for president since 1984. But Republicans sense opportunity after Walker challenged public sector unions and survived a Democratic push to oust him as governor.

Romney on Monday plans to visit Janesville, a town hard hit by the economic recession. He is appearing with Wisconsin Rep. Paul Ryan, the architect of the House Republicans' budget plan.

Romney is in the middle of a five-day bus tour through six states. He also plans two campaign stops in Iowa.

Yeah, just what we need another power hungry republican. First thing he wants to do is repeal "Obamacare". Heck we don't even know if it will stand up in court yet and that is his big thing? Not the budget, not jobs, not economy nope must get rid of the health care law which although not perfect was the best health care plan out there that could be passed and we as a nation needed some sort of health care law passed. Problem with this election is going to be which is the lesser of the two evils. Romney or Obama? Personally I will stick with Obama he is bad I know that but I believe Romney is much worse. Now Romney might help himself if he picks a good VP candidate but he really needs to do so soon I think.

To Lucy: What in the world are you talking about? It was democrat Hilary Rosen who bashed Mrs. Romney and the whole class at stay at home moms. She said "raising 5 kids was not a real job". Better look at you own party first before you start your own bashing!

Romney has no idea the meaning of "MIDDLE CLASS". Romney was born with the "silver spoon" in his mouth and can only relate to the RICH. Don't need this rich dude controlling our destiny. Go back home and keep living your "no want" life.

Replace Romney with Obama and your statement would be more true.

So...You're saying with a straight face that Romney "pulled himself up by his boot straps" and did infact NOT inherit the company his FATHER created?

Any woman with some sense will realize his wife has lost this race for him already. How can she criticize a whole class of women and he still be voted in! Sorry Mitt, you're wife has some serious damage control to do! But maybe republicans enjoy her bashing working women and $1000 shirts!
