Snow Update 2/22/2013: We will be starting a full plow operation at 4 p.m. this afternoon, once the primary streets are finished. We expect to be completed by 2 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 23. Ice control routes will be monitored for changing conditions and will be salted and plowed as needed. Residential routes will be sanded as needed. Everyone have a safe weekend!

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) – As the snow keeps piling up across Western Wisconsin, the City of Eau Claire had received nearly three inches of snow at about 9:35 a.m. Friday.
The city says crews are salting, sanding, and plowing its primary, arterial streets. It says the crews will plow secondary routes after that work is done. It will determine whether crews wills start a full plow operation later Friday morning.
The city is also reminding drivers to give yourself enough time to get where you are going on the roads, and to give plow drivers the time and space they need to do their job safely.
