Semi rollover closes Highway 29 for nearly 8 hours
(WEAU) – A semi rollover sends one man to the hospital and closes down Highway 29 for almost 8 hours.
The Chippewa County Sheriff’s Office say the crash happened just after midnight Monday morning on Highway 29 in the Town of Delmar. It says a semi going westbound carrying a load of tires rolled over, spilling the tires.
It says the driver of the semi, John Drewa, 54, from Wisconsin Rapids was taken to a hospital with minor injuries
The office says the semi and trailer blocked both of the westbound lanes, and the highway was closed down until just before 8 a.m.
