(WEAU) - The deadline to file your taxes is just over a month away, and experts say the easiest way to get them done on time, is to e-file.
The WI Department of Revenue says e-filing is safe and secure and if you have the refund deposited directly into your account, you can get it within a couple of days.
There are also several locations where you can go to get help filing your taxes, including Volunteer Income Tax Assistance, (VITA) which is a free program for those who qualify.
Secretary of Wisconsin Department of Revenue Richard Chandler says "so for people who are elderly, disabled, low-income and members of military families, they can go to one of these free tax assistance sites and have somebody help them and for some people who just might not be familiar with e-filing or who may just be a little bit apprehensive about it, that can be a good option."

The deadline to file your taxes is April 15th.
