Stores go dark after power outage

(WEAU) – Xcel says an underground cable failure caused a power outage to businesses on Eau Claire’s west side Tuesday, including Cancun and Mega! West grocery store.

Mega employees tell us they took measures to protect the food. It was expected to be back up Tuesday afternoon.
