(WEAU) - In just over a week, the two candidates for Wisconsin Supreme Court will debate for the first, and only time.
Incumbent Justice Pat Roggensack faces Marquette University Law School Professor Ed Fallone in the April 2nd election.
Fallone was in Eau Claire talking to voters Thursday and talked with us about what he feels he would bring to the position. “Well I think, I’m not a part of any of these cycles of ill will or any of these grudges that are currently represented on the court. I would come to the court as a fresh face, someone who is able to build a consensus and get the court refocused on its job"
In February during a candidate forum, Justice Roggensack said the perception of incivility between the justices is overblown. She says she wouldn't be running for a second 10-year term if there were really that much acrimony.
The winner of the seat will serve a 10-year term.
