EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) – Two people ended up with life-threatening injuries in a crash that led to lane closures on I-94.

The Wisconsin State Patrol says Morris Nicholson, 68, of Amery was driving a pickup truck that was pulling a camper east on I-94 near Woodville Friday morning. When Nicholson tried to pass a semi that was in the right lane, he swerved, over-corrected, and the camper collided with the semi-trailer. The pickup truck and camper went into the median and rolled.

Nicholson and Lee Nicholson, 64, of Amery both went to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. The semi driver was not hurt.
