KENOSHA, Wis. (AP) -- A teen who pleaded guilty to punching his son's mother in the face because she wouldn't share her Facebook password has been sentenced to two months of probation.
Seventeen-year-old Andrew P. Beltran was convicted of misdemeanor battery and two counts of threatening harm.
The 16-year-old mother told investigators the alleged abuse began in November after she refused him access to her Facebook account.
Prosecutors say a few days later Beltran threatened her with a knife for wearing "slutty" pants. The criminal complaint says he held a knife to her throat, telling his 13-month-old son, "I'm sorry, I just have to do this to your mom."
A Kenosha News report (http://bit.ly/vZxcQb ) says he was also convicted of sending threatening text messages.
A message left with Beltran's attorney Saturday wasn't immediately returned.
