NEW INFORMATION: Name released in Tomah death investigation

TOMAH, Wis. (WEAU)--We now know the name of the man who's body was found at a home in Tomah Sunday.

The Tomah Police Department identified the man as 22-year-old Carlos Torres Villa.

Police say an autopsy was done on Tuesday but investigators still do not know how he died.

They say they found nothing suspicious. Investigators are still waiting for toxicology results.

TOMAH, Wis. (WEAU) – An autopsy has been performed on a 21-year-old man whose death is under investigation, but a cause of death is still unknown.

Tomah police have not identified the man as of Thursday morning. He was found on the 1400 block of Superior Avenue in Tomah Sunday.

Investigators are waiting on toxicology results in the case.

TOMAH, Wis. (WEAU) -- The Tomah Police Department is investigating the death of a 21-year-old man.

On Sunday, officers responded to the 1400 block of Superior Avenue in Tomah for a man who did not have a pulse.

The police arrived and determined the man was dead.

Officers said they are still trying to confirm the identity of the deceased man.

No word on if this is a suspicious death at this time.

The death remains under investigation and an autopsy is underway.
