Two Bon Iver records go gold

BLOOMINGTON, IN (WEAU) - The homegrown hit group Bon Iver has gone gold.

The group's record label Jagjaguwar says two of Bon Iver's records "For Emma, Forever Ago" and "Bon Iver, Bon Iver" have been certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America.

The group is headed up by Eau Claire native Justin Vernon.

To go gold, a record must sell 500,000 copies.

The group won two Grammy awards last year.
