Two dead in Milwaukee shootings

MILWAUKEE (AP) -- Milwaukee police are investigating the fatal shootings of two men on the city's south side.

Officers were called to a residential neighborhood about 1:30 a.m. Tuesday where a 44-year-old man was found dead of a gunshot wound in the street.

Investigators say a 29-year-old Milwaukee man was also found dead in a nearby residence. That man had also been shot.

Police say the shootings are connected. They have no suspects in custody.
