Two hurt when motorcycle hits deer

The motorcycle rider was thrown from the bike, but the bike kept going, crossing the center line and hitting a car.

(WEAU) - Two people were hurt when a motorcycle hit a deer.

The Buffalo County Sheriff's Department says it happened Wednesday afternoon on Highway 95 near Fountain City. It says Christopher Boyum, 42, from Peterson, MN was riding a motorcycle when he hit a deer.

He was thrown from the bike, but the bike kept going, crossing the center line and hiting a car being driven by Kelsey Guenter, 24.

Boyum suffered serious injuries and was flown from the scene. Guenter suffered minor injuries.
