HOLCOMBE, Wis (WEAU)--Chippewa County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a two vehicle crash that sent one person to the hospital.
The crash happened early this morning on State Highway 27 near Holcombe.
Deputies says a vehicle pulling un loaded tandem axel trailer was traveling north bound on HWY 27 when the trailer came unattached and struck a vehicle heading south.
The driver of the south bound vehicle had to be extricated from the vehicle and was transported to a hospital in Eau Claire.
No names have been released.
