Water main break reroutes traffic in Eau Claire

(WEAU) - Part of Birch Street is closed near Gordy's County Market in Eau Claire following a water main break.

It started around 3:00 Friday afternoon. Crews are rerouting traffic around the break.

City crews say it had to shut down water service to around 40 businesses and homes.
