Woman accused of biting police officer will stand trial

TURTLE LAKE, Wis. (WEAU)-- A woman accused of biting a police officer and damaging a squad car will head to trial.

On Monday, 43-year-old Wendy Eisen of Osceola pleaded not guilty in Barron County Court to charges including battery to law enforcement officers.

Court records show Eisen had been kicked out of the St. Croix Casino in Turtle Lake and police were called. It says when she was put in the squad car, she kicked and head-butted the windows and bit an officer who was trying to buckle her in.

Eisen is scheduled to be back in court later this month.

TURTLE LAKE, Wis. (WEAU)- A woman who was kicked out of an area casino is accused of biting a police officer.

Court records show 43-year-old Wendy Eisen of Osceola had been kicked out of the St. Croix Casino in Turtle Lake on Sunday and police were called.

It says she repeatedly swore and yelled at the officers and when she was put in the squad car, she kicked and headbutted the windows. When an officer reached in to belt her in, the criminal complaint shows she bit him twice.

Eisen is charged with four counts including disorderly conduct and battery to a peace officer.
