CHIPPEWA FALLS, Wis. (WEAU) – A Jim Falls woman was arrested in connection to a possible drug overdose.
According to the Chippewa Falls Police Department, on Saturday June 15th, officers got a report of a possible drug overdose at St. Joseph’s Hospital about a person who had allegedly been given methamphetamine along with another unknown substance. The person’s condition was reported to worsen.
On Sunday June 16th, the West Central Drug Task Force began to investigate and identified the methamphetamine came from Lisa Moucha, 38, of Jim Falls.
On Thursday June 20th, officers arrested Moucha at her mother’s home. The drug task force executed a search warrant at Moucha’s residence in Jim Falls.
Officers say Moucha was taken to the Chippewa County Jail and was charged with three counts of manufacturing/delivery of methamphetamine within 1,000 feet of an elementary school, distribution to a person under 18, possession of methamphetamine paraphernalia, first degree reckless injury, maintaining a drug house, unlawful possession of prescription medications, possession of drug paraphernalia and two counts of felony bail jumping.
She was currently out on bond for four counts of delivery of schedule I-II narcotics, possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
On Friday June 21, Moucha received a $2,000 cash bond for her charges.
