Another woman went to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.  A man wasn’t hurt.

The Tomah Police Department, Tomah Fire Department, Tomah Area Ambulance, Wisconsin State Patrol, Tomah Department of Public Works and the Warrens First Responders all assisted at the scene.

TOMAH, Wis. (WEAU) - We now know the name of the woman who died in a three-car crash on Thursday.

The Tomah Police Department says Stevie Jorgensen, 29, of the Tomah area died in the wreck. Another woman went to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. A man wasn’t hurt.

MONROE COUNTY, Wis. (WEAU) - Thursday at about 3:10 p.m. the Tomah Police Department responded to a three vehicle traffic crash at the intersection of Superior Avenue and Veterans Street.

Shortly after arrival it was determined that the driver of one of the vehicles, a 29 year old female from the Tomah area, was deceased.

The operator of the second vehicle was transported to the Tomah Memorial Hospital by the Tomah Area Ambulance with what appeared to be non-life threatening injuries.

The operator of the third vehicle was not injured.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation. The Wisconsin State Patrol Technical Reconstruction Unit was called to assist at the crash scene.
