The Eau Claire County Sheriff's Department is getting a hefty grant to help crack down on crime. The department will use a $25,000 grant for drunk driving enforcement and another $20,000 grant to crack down on speeding and aggressive driving. The department says speed is the number one cause of crashes and resulting injuries. It's also getting $15,000 to help detect underage drinking. The department is using the money to get two in-car digital video systems and 10 preliminary breath test units.
