(WEAU) - The National Multiple Sclerosis Society estimates that 400,000 people in the U.S. have been diagnosed with MS.
It's affected nearly 2.5 million people worldwide, but a local walk is hoping to support the cause.
The MS Walk will be on Saturday, April 27th starting at the UW-Eau Claire Davies Center.
Registration will be at 9am with the walk starting at 10am.
There is no entry fee. Walkers are encouraged to raise money through pledges. WEAU sat down with Sally Pathos to talk about the disease and the walk.
