The band is playing at the 2nd Annual Chippewa Valley Museum Heritage Celebration on Thursday, September 27, 2012 from 5:30 to 9:30 pm at The Florian Gardens in Eau Claire!
Enjoy a fun evening honoring our region's Norwegian heritage filled with music and traditional food and drink. Proceeds from the festival support the Museum's exhibits and educational programs.
Uffda-Palooza guests can feast on a Norwegian buffet featuring Lemon Butter Baked Cod, Norwegian Meatballs with Gravy, Baby Red Potatoes, Country Steamed Vegetables, Tossed Green Salad, Cucumber Salad, Lefse, and an assortment of Norwegian Sweets.
Guests can also dance to music provided by Klezmazel, play traditional Norwegian games, sample a selection of Scandinavian wines and beers (small additional fee), and enjoy Norwegian folk art demonstrations - rosemaling, hardanger embroidery, and chip carving. A silent auction will feature baskets and items from around the Chippewa Valley.
Cost is $40 per person before September 1st, or $45 per person after. Price includes dinner, music, and select games. $15 tax deductible. Cash bar. Norwegian attire admired but not required.
