Vince Lombardi is known as the greatest football coach of all time; a legendary man leading the Green Bay Packers to five NFL Championships including Super Bowls I and II in the 1960s.
One of Lombardi's greatest players, three time world champion linebacker Dave Robinson and his co-authors Herb Adderley and Royce Boyles have written a new book called "Lombardi's Left Side."
Robinson and Boyles will be at a book signing at Festival Foods in Eau Claire Friday, Nov. 9th from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. and they'll also be signing books in the evening at the Heyde Center for the arts during a one-man play called "Vince: The Life and Times of Vince Lombardi."
The play features John Pinero who has portrayed Lombardi in the place since 1996.
It begins at 7:30 p.m. at the Heyde Center in Chippewa Falls. Admission is $15 and the event is sponsored by Mike Pope of Ameriprise Financial.
