This Sunday, supporters of a statewide smoking ban are holding a Town Hall Meeting in Eau Claire as part of a series of similar meetings across the state.

It's at Sweetwaters at 1104 W. Clairemont Ave. from 3:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m.

Local leaders and state lawmakers are expected to attend, along with someone the American Cancer Society says suffered the ill effects of working in a smoky place, a restaurant or tavern owner, and a health care professional.
