As you begin to clean out those garages, Dunn County wants you to know its collecting hazardous waste next week.

The county is encouraging farmers and businesses to pre-register.

The Dunn County solid waste division says automotive, garden, workshop, agricultural or household products labeled as caustic, poisonous, or flammable are considered hazardous waste and should not be disposed of with regular garbage or poured down a drain.

The collection will be held next Wednesday at the Dunn County Highway Boyceville Shop on highway 79. And next Thursday at the Dunn County Transfer Station.

For more information, you can contact the Dunn County Solid Waste Division at 715-232-4017.
