The Eau Claire School Board is in the midst of its fourth meeting to discuss what they're going to do with former Superintendent Bill Klaus.
The board has been meeting for about 3 and a half hours so far.
They're discussing options for handling the creation of a document that would allow Klaus to receive his retirement stipends earlier than expected.
The stipends are worth $225,000.
Board members say former board president, Carol Olsen signed the document last summer.
But Olson was no longer associated with the district at the time.
Neither Klaus nor Olson has showed up yet for today's meeting.
Klaus had been serving as principal of Northstar Middle School.
He has since been put on paid administrative leave, while the board continues discussing the issue.
Board members could finish debating the issue within the hour.
We'll have updates tonight on NewsCenter 13 at five and six.
