Two people in Crawford County are charged with OWI after hitting a police car

The Crawford County Sheriff's Department says 21-year-old Dustin Lerch of Fort Polk, LA was driving westbound on Wisconsin Street in Prairie du Chien when he hit an unoccupied police car.

The squad had all its emergency lights lit at the time of the accident

Lerch, and the passenger John Ehde of McGregor, IA, both had minor injuries and refused treatment

They were both charged with OWI when they both claimed to be the driver.
