The second most important yearly celebration in Norway has a place in Western Wisconsin this weekend.

The Norskedalen 25th Annual Midsummer Fest is Friday, June 20 through Sunday, June 22.

The festival grounds are three miles north of Coon Valley on County Road P.

There's a bonfire Friday night, pancake breakfast Saturday morning, woodcarving show and sale both days, demonstrations, activities and entertainment.
