According to the Trempealeau County Sheriff’s Office the postponement is due to a man who ran from police. The sheriff’s office says no weapons were displayed and it is believed that the man does not have any ties to the Osseo Fairchild School District.
In a letter issued today, Governor Walker requested FEMA conduct damage assessments in Adams, Chippewa, Clark, Columbia, Crawford, Eau Claire, Jackson, La Crosse, Monroe, Richland, Trempealeau, and Vernon counties.
