Saving online with the DMV
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation says if you renew your vehicle registration online, you only have to pay one dollar to renew, versus going to the counter, where you have to pay three bucks for a service fee.

It can cost you if you let the plates on your car expire, but in tonight's On the Money, we look at how you can save time and money going to the DMV online.
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation says if you renew your vehicle registration online, you only have to pay one dollar to renew, versus going to the counter, where you have to pay three bucks for a service fee.
The Division of Motor Vehicles site is available any hour of the day, or you can send in your post card for just the cost of a stamp.
