Scammers using Twitter to lure you into pyramid scheme

Who wouldn't want to make $10,000 a month at home just by Tweeting?
But the better business bureau says be careful, promises of major money could be a trick to get you into a pyramid scheme.
In this "On the Money," we look at how the BBB says scammers are using Twitter to take your cash.
Tweets are short and fast, but the BBB says scammers are promising fast cash in a short amount of time.
Andrew Zielinski, a Twitter user, says "does it surprise me that creative illicit minds are trying to find a way to capitalize on such a wonderful technology? No, not at all."
Zielinski says he loves Tweeting but says when he pulls the website up, he also puts his guard up.
"I'm just naturally skeptical of a lot of this stuff so I don't go for it at all," he said.
He's talking about Tweets that the BBB says are trying to lure you into a pyramid scheme. Internet fraud attorney John Hinkle says if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. He adds, "first thing you should ask yourself is how someone could make ten thousand dollars a month from home. Usually, it is impossible. It can not be done unless it is a scam."
The BBB says watch out for websites covered in success stories, where college dropouts are making $10,000 a month. The BBB says the sites ask you to pay $2 to enroll, then charge you $47 a month to have your own website and to use Twitter to recruit people who in turn pay you $47 a month.
Hinkle adds, "they hope to get what they can get and suddenly they're off."
