| Green Chile Bacon Burger |
| Ingredients Needed: 1 2/3 Lbs Ground Beef 1 oz Bread Crumbs 1 Egg 2 oz Green Chiles (canned) 2 oz Hormel (precooked) bacon crumbles 5 Hamburger Buns 5 slices Provolone cheese Pinch of Seasoned salt and pepper 1 Red Onion |
| Directions: 1. Wash hands 2. Assemble equipment: mixer, bowls, measuring utensils, and ingredients 3. Combine beef, egg, bread crumbs, green chilies, bacon, salt, and mix well 4. Form five third pound patties with beef mixture 5. Grill burgers over direct heat for 5-8 minutes on each side or to desired doneness 6. Place one piece of cheese on each patty until melted 7. Serve on a toasted bun Side notes: Bleu cheese dressing mixed with green chilies is a great sauce for this burger. It can also be topped with red onion, lettuce, tomato, pickles, or your favorite condiment. |
