  The UW-Eau Claire softball team opens play in the NCAA Whitewater Regional tomorrow afternoon when the Blugolds play North Central of Illinois in the first round of the double elimination tournament. The Blugolds need to win the regional to advance to next week's NCAA Division 3 championships which will be held here in Eau Claire.   Ladysmith senior, Andi Ostenso is a highly decorated runner. As a sophomore, Andi won the state title in the mile, as a junior she ran a 4:54 mile, and now as a senior, Andi is back for more.   The UW-Eau Claire men's track and field team had never claimed first in a running event at the NCAA Indoor Nationals until this past season when they captured first in not one but two events.
