ATHLETE OF THE WEEK: Eau Claire North senior Abbey Long

Updated: 04/20/2016 - The softball season is young, but already we've seen some outstanding performances. Eau Claire North's Abbey Long hit two home runs and threw a no-hitter in a doubleheader against Menomonie last week, making the Huskies senior the centerpiece of our Gordy's Athlete of the Week.

ATHLETE OF THE WEEK: Elk Mound senior Brandon Bohl

Updated: 04/13/2016 - The Elk Mound baseball team is only two games into it's season, and already they've lived up early expectations. Lefty hurler Brandon Bohl has two wins, including a perfect game last week against Chetek-Weyerhaeuser. Bohl is a "perfect" selection for our Gordy's Athlete of the Week.
