Packers' McCarthy Credits Cornerbacks for Defensive Success

Packers coach Mike McCarthy credits his injured cornerbacks with allowing Green Bay's defense to be so aggressive during their 4-and-0 start.

McCarthy says Al Harris and Charles Woodson are exceptional players at the line of scrimmage.

Harris has been playing with an injured back. McCarthy says Harris may not practice at all this week as the Packers prepare to host the Chicago Bears on Sunday night.

Woodson's left foot is hurting too.

The Packers have just one new starter in the secondary with Harris, Woodson and safety Nick Collins. That's Atari Bigby, who took over after at safety after Marquand Manuel failed in the role last year and was released before the season.
