Bloomer's John Post has been named the Green Bay Packers high school coach of the week, becoming the first winner of the award in 2010.

Post has guided the Blackhawks to a 2-0 start this season after a 20-19 victory over Somerset High School on Sept. 3rd. A biology teacher at Bloomer High School, Post has been with the Blackhawks football program for 11 seasons, including seven as head coach.

The Blackhawks will host Chetek/Weyerhauser on Friday, September 10th at 7:00 p.m.
