Memorial's McGinnis Steps Down

Pat McGinnis is leaving after 15 years as head coach and 17 years in the Eau Claire Memorial Football Program.

His tenure is the longest in school history, and he rankes third all-time in wins. McGinnis' teams posted seven winning seasons, including 8-1 in 1995, 7-3 in 1997 and 1998, 8-2 in 2004 and 7-3 in 2006. He took five of his teams to the playoffs, shared two Big Rivers Conference titles and placed runner-up twice.

He is looking forward to spending more time with his family and will continue to work and teach at Memorial High School.
