Memorial Star Headed To Omaha

The all-time scoring leader of the Eau Claire Memorial Hockey team will forego his senior year with the Old Abes to join the USHL's Omaha Lancers.

His records with Memorial are more impressive when you consider that they were accomplished in just over two years at the varsity level. In his sophomore year, Soley tallied 24 goals and 31 assists. And last year, racked up 29 goals and 32 assists, leading the undefeated Old Abes to the state semifinals. His career totals at Memorial are 67 goals, 83 assists for 150 total points.

Soley now joins the USHL West Division leading Lancers, who clinched the division title last season and finished just one point behind the Waterloo Black Hawks for the League Title. The Lancers were knocked off by Des Moines in the first round of the playoffs.

After his career in the USHL, Soley has already arranged to play college hockey at Michigan State, where he has given a verbal commitment.
