Blugolds Fall in Volleyball Regional

After a fourth place finish in last week's WIAC conference tournament, the UW-Eau Claire women's volleyball team earned a spot in the 2007 NCAA Division Three national tournament, receiving a bid into the St. Thomas regional in St. Paul, Minnesota.

The team wasn't there long.

The Blugolds dropped game one, won game two, but lost the three game in a 3-1 loss to the Tommies. St. Thomas advance to face Central, IA on Friday.

The Blugolds finish the season with a record of 22-11.
