Lights-Out Goaltending Leads to Shut-Out Win

Shane Connelly made 25 of his 43 saves in the third period as Number 10 Wisconsin beat Number 3 North Dakota 4-0 tonight.

Connelly earned his fifth career shutout and first of the season.

Jean-Philippe Lamoureux made 20 saves for North Dakota.

Ben Street put the Badgers ahead in the second period, and Brendan Smith, Blake Geoffrion and John Mitchell added third-period goals.

Street is the only Wisconsin player with at least one point in all seven games this season.

Wisconsin improves to 5-2 while North Dakota falls to 4-3. Wisconsin is now 11-4 all-time against North Dakota at the Kohl Center.
