The Blugolds Eau Claire Holiday Classic Tournament opener against Marian College was just too good to only last forty minutes. UW Eau Claire was pushed to overtime against Marian, but responded the same way they did against Platteville on December 5th... With an extra-period win.

Geoff Probst led the way for the Blugolds with 28 points and 8 rebounds. Ryan Shea scored 20, and Colin Boone finished with ten points.

With the win, the Blugolds improve to 6-3 on the season, and will host Jamestown (ND) Saturday Night at 8:00 p.m. in the Tournament Championship Game.
