Brett Favre says there's not going to be a comeback.

ESPN reported today that Favre is considering coming out of retirement. But the former Green Bay Packers quarterback has dismissed the report, telling a Mississippi newspaper Web site that "it's all rumor."

The paper reported that Favre sent a text message saying there's "no reason" for a media frenzy.

ESPN reported that an unidentified Packers source said the 38-year-old Favre told coach Mike McCarthy in the past two weeks that he has the itch to play. Cornerback Al Harris said on ESPN's NFL Live that Favre also made similar comments to him.

Favre retired March 6th after a 17-year career.

To all Newspaper writers and Television sport people. Why not just leave Brett Favre alone so he and his family can enjoy having him home. I think it is great that he has retired and I am one of his biggest fans.
