What a bunch of fairweather fan you are you can not even support the team that you claim that you love. You need to get over it already, Brett chose to move on and you should too. Glad to say I am not a fan of either Brett or the Pack.
How the Green Bay Packers organization treated Brett is wrong and not how grown men should do business. If Teddy boy is so certain Mr. Rogers is the man for the Green Bay neighborhood and is such a good idea, why should they be so concerned about where Brett played, If Mr. Rogers is the man, he's the man then regardless of where Brett plays. It was dirty dealing and it doesn't make me very proud right now to be a Packer fan. The political bumper sticker, "If you're not disgusted, then you're not paying attention!" certainly applies here.
I agree with Mike from Rice Lake. I'd like to add my disgust at all the anti-Brett comments how quickly some people forget all that he brought to Green Bay and what a positive icon he was for GB and Wisconsin. I'm joining the forces in Green Bay at 6:00 before Monday nights game. Their purpose: Trade Ted Thompson and Murphy. With their dirty way of handling this decision should cost them their jobs.Where's Ron Wolf and what's he doing these days? Maybe he'll come out of retirement!
Yeah! I'm completely behind this trade. Here's to a great start as a new team.
Hey Todd, you're a clown. I'll watch Favre, too, and will now be able to laugh at his silly interceptions, of which I am sure there will be many this year. He won't have half as good a year as last year. You can take that to the bank.
Yeah Bill, It's all Ted's fault....right you just keep believing that. Time to stop the hero worship, and realize Brett didn't want to come back here. He asked for his RELEASE, not to come back. Brett can't get over that he'snot the only Packer that makes decisions, and when it comes to playerrs/coaches, he has no say in the matter. Brett retired, and the team took him at his word and made plans for the season. Who is he to force anyones hand to change that? The world doesn't revolve around him, and he now knows that. Have fun with the pathetic O-line of the Jets, you're gonna watch alot of the game from your back, just like Pennigton did! If they couldn't protect a more mobile QB, how are they going to protect Brett??????
Good, let somebody else put up with the "Drama Queen".
Favre brought on the soap opera himself after stating his retirement. Go Rodgers!
THINGS CHANGE. A TRUE PACKER FAN WOULD STAY A PACKER FAN AND GEY OVER IT. I WILL BE GLAD WHEN ALL THIS IS OUT OF THE NEWS SICK OF HEARING ABOUT IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Good buy packers !!! i love the packers, an all that go with it, but i will not watch them till they vote ted (the loser) thompson off the board.... you share holders better think long and hard about it. your ratings are about to sink faster than Gorge Bush.. im gonna watch highschool football till you come to your sences
green bay packers will smash the new york jet, so good riddens to favre.
now that "BRETT" is gone we need to look for real management where is a Ron Wolf when you need him??? Thay have better of traded him for there number one picks for the next ten years... Looks like the Jets will be back in the Supper Bowl!!!
Integrity obviously isn't his strong suit.
Hey Favre....GET OVER YOURSELF!
It will be difficult to see the Packers take the field without Favre but life goes on. Its too bad that his career ended in such a soap opera. I was a huge fan of Favre but unfortunately have lost a great deal of respect for him. He should have stayed retired and kept his legacy intact. At the end of the day we have no one to blame but ourselves for the choices we make in our lives!
